About 83 seconds.....
...by my reckoning.

The amount of time it took for the PM programme report on the comments
of Cambs. Chief Constable, from Peterborough, before they used the V
word :- vibrant.

Along with the de riguer "...positive contribution to the local
economy....." blah di blah di blah.

Meaning, according to police officers I know, cheaper handguns and
prostitutes.

Ah, diversity!

oh oh you're a cynical one.

I know for a fact there are people in vibrating countries all over the world
whose constant concern is how they can assist the UK economy.

The diversity Taliban are everywhere. I thought this whole piece utterly
banal. Did you note the various EMPHASES? Like, in Cambridgeshire, CRIME
IS DOWN. Like IMMIGRANTS PAY MORE TAX THAN THEY COST.

My take on "Diversity"... more to come.

Hmmmmm. I thought that was just me.....

Interesting. OT, but yesterday I had Steve Wright on (only while his
guest was Adrian Chiles)..... but only for a few seconds. His entire
raison d'etre in the program was that....he was alarmed to look at his
wedding photographs and realised that they featured "...all white
faces....". (Is this Dykeism, or is that syndrome already claimed?).
He was troubled by this, and had to tell someone about his angst, and
that he was 'worried about a lack of diversity in our lives' and going
to seek out' more ethnic friends'.

When you consider that his (Wright's) show is considered a classic
example of 'zoo radio' (general malarky and made-up factoids), was
this a spoof? I think we should know....

I tend to find R2 a bit of a respite from the diversity cult. Steve
Wright is such a clever operator because he manages to steer clear of
just about anything controversial whilst remaining reasonably
entertaining, which is very tricky these days.

Yes you're right, but god he does sometimes annoy me.

I like that Richard Allinson chap; not the slightest bit offensive, and
really good at interviewing people because he has such a calming voice.
The guests who are lucky enough to be interviewed by him sound like
their chatting to a mate in the pub. Very skilful.

Totally agree. So of course, he was sacked by the stupid bitch that
took over.

I thought he comes back as a stand in Jock? Shame if he has been fired.
  Wonder where he's working now?

I can only assume he was fired, his exit was very quick, and when you
see the parade of talentless shit that has taken over the airwaves, I
put 2+2 to get 4.

Last I heard he had the 9:00 to midday show on Radio Oxford on
Sunday's, and a 2-hour album show on Saturdays.

Uh-huh. But if those claims were false, you would be saying so,
wouldn't you? So
they are not.

Every bit as predictable as the other side's "mass immigration",
"open border policy",
and of course the F word: "Flood".

Whoosh!!

The point is that rather than sticking to the point being made about the
problems caused to the police forces of these counties by immigration,
the BBC turned it into a story about the contestable benefits of
immigration. That wasn't the news story. The news story was that of the
problems caused by immigration.

To illustrate the point about bias, imagine a report had been issued
extolling the virtues of immigration. Do you think it feasible that the
BBC would open the news item covering that story with a breakdown of the
negative effects of immigration, essentially adding the main story about
the benefits as an addendum or trivial ancillary?

Controlled vocabulary, a tentacle of political correctness.
It's a bit like 'cliche bingo' with buzz words and standard
knobhead phrases wot they use in football commentaries.

Not "prostitutes" but "women working as prostitutes"
