I'd say that slightly different melodies are on top of a fairly common 
form. You could accuse the later composers of not being very original, 
but I don't think it's plagiarism.

"There Ain't No Telling You" is different from the rest of the Chas & Dave 
oeuvre
in being the only bit I like
