More Kennedy hopelessness
She was in a right old state this morning! Stumbling over words and hardly
able to string a sentence together. The funniest bit was when she played a
James Taylor track and then back-announced it as Willie Nelson, saying he'd
reached the grand old age of 75. Then after the news she admitted her
mistake and then played the actual Willie Nelson track. Proves to me that
her head was obviously elsewhere, even though she kept complaining of a
sore throat.

I didn't much care either for her patronising remarks about Willie Nelson,
saying that 75 was "a good innings". It's actually well within average
life expectancy these days; I'd say it was more appropriate for people who
had reached their 90s.

Even in the first quarter hour, she's rambling
"It starts with Marbles.... ...up yer bottom Sir Lancelot... she can't
speak...
No, I haven't mucked it up yet. I don't know what, no..."

This is a must. Get over to "listen again" before it goes faulty.

I don't think so. She's not had her radio show for all that long (though
it just seems that way), and I think she was on ITV when "Game For A Laugh"
was on.

She was in the original line-up, along with Jeremy Beadle, Matthew and Henry
Kelly.

"Lame for a Gaffe", I always used to call it.

According to Wikipedia, she's was at Radio 2 from 1976-79, and rejoined
in 1992.

Well said Mike, I like her too. Not enough of us speak up in favour of the
delightful Sarah.

LOL. okay, you got me there good and proper.
I saw a clip of her on telly recently where a ten year old David
Beckham was on a show with her and I have to say, she 'did' look
delightful back then.

Re: More Kennedy hopelessness
Yes its good to have true Brit eccentrics on the radio, she's proved her
worth over many years.

She certainly has. Sadly it's about two pence.
