Our Sarah - a broadcasting legend
Wonderful shows this week - I expect I speak for fellow Dawn Patrollers in
wishing Sarah many more record breaking years of broadcasting.

I'm not sure who (if anyone) has broadcast longer on Radio 2, hers is an
incredible achievement which will take many years for anyone to surpass.

So even when its time to retire (which may be soon) she deserves (IMHO) the
ultimate long service accolade (and a special Sony to go with the other
one).

Oh for God's sake, Mike, I'm beginning to wonder which of the two of you is
the most senile. An upper-middle class, twittering old bat, with little grip
on reality (but, ultimately, harmless) or the fawning sycophant who can only
achieve an orgasm by posting drivel to a newsgroup. Pathetic nonsense. If
you can't find something useful to contribute then just shut up and enjoy
the mad old bint in the comfort of your own home, without wetting yourself
and boring us all to death with your trivial outpourings on here. If you
want to start a reasoned, intelligent discussion about the pros and cons of
Ms Kennedy's talents (or otherwise) then fair enough. We'll happily engage
and discuss or argue our viewpoints ad infinitum (see other threads for
examples). Gushing, pointless nonsense like this serves no purpose other
than to (unsuccessfully) inflate the ego of the sad, inadequate poster.

I think you'll find that the likes of Terry Wogan and David Jacobs have
been of Radio 2 *far* longer than Sarah Kennedy. And they are immeasurably
better presenters.

Ultimate Long Service Accolade = "Goodbye, here's your pension, there's the
door."

What, the woman who started this week's programmes by wondering how she
managed to fall over in the garden?

God dont we know it too, with that and "the P word" shes never stopped about
it for days. Role on 6 music in the car. I did try R1 at 7 am the other
day. BIG mistake. Chris Moles off on some rant for more than 9 minutes
before he played a record. If only we could have RA back or even Aled at a
push. But Cds it is for now.
