Yesterday's events
Great to be in Harwich with Johnnie Walker (and Tiggy), Dave Cash, Keith
Skues, Tom Edwards and many more Radio 2 (or ex-Radio 2) and other radio
station jocks. The 450 round trip drive for me was well worth it, the wind
and rain added to the atmosphere as the jocks came ashore.

I'm happy to share comments about this and the London event the weekend
before, and photos - offline please.

I was 17 in '67, 57 now, hopefully still around for the 50th in 2017.

Radio 2 owes a lot to offshore radio of the 60s, of that there is no doubt.

Great that the first Radio 2 jock - Paul Hollingdale - was at the London
event.

Come on Mike, do something useful for once and post a review of your
experiences in this group. Lots of people (me included) will appreciate
it and respect you for it. It will be good to see your own thoughts,
rather than other people's words that you so often see fit to quote without
any remarks of your own.

see you post with such enthusiasm about something Mike. Go for it.

Come on Mike, do something useful for once and post a review of your
experiences in this group. Lots of people (me included) will appreciate
it and respect you for it. It will be good to see your own thoughts,
rather than other people's words that you so often see fit to quote without
any remarks of your own.

I agree totally. It's radio related and it's actually really nice to
see you post with such enthusiasm about something Mike. Go for it.
