Wogan does "Springwatch"
Just what was the point of that? I catnapped through from about 8:05 -
missed the interview with Bill Oddie and Kate Humble - and heard absolutely
nothing that couldn't have been done by Terry in the studio with a CD of
bird and animal noises. What a complete waste of time and a complete
over-sell! More licence-payers money wasted.

It was also deeply hypocritical, because Wogan's only apparent interest in
wild creatures seems to be whether you can eat them, and he also apparently
doesn't give a $hit about environmental issues. That's the impression I
get from what he says on his show, anyway. I do hope I'm wrong and that's
just an act.

My recollection was that he was there as part of a Children in Need
"Things that only ridiculous amounts of money can buy" auction purchase,
along with the purchasers although they seemed to keep themselves to
themselves at least while I was listening...

It was also deeply hypocritical, because Wogan's only apparent interest in
wild creatures seems to be whether you can eat them, and he also apparently
doesn't give a $hit about environmental issues. That's the impression I

just an act.

My recollection was that he was there as part of a Children in Need
"Things that only ridiculous amounts of money can buy" auction purchase,
along with the purchasers although they seemed to keep themselves to
themselves at least while I was listening...
