Dara O'Brien in for SW
....happened yesterday apparently. Anyone know if this is going to be a
regular thing? I quite enjoyed DoB's other stuff on R2.

My guess is that this was a relatively last minute substitution. The
listings magazines show Steve Wright as in for his show this week (although
Richard Allinson is listed as in for Ken Bruce). Perhaps, mindful of Dara
O'Briain's excellent work when he stepped in for Jonathan Ross last year, he
was approached as he was free and there were no other 'regular'
holiday-cover DJs available at short notice.

I may have a listen to the show on 'Listen Again'. Normally I avoid
afternoon Radio 2 like the plague but I greatly enjoyed Dara O'Briain last
year and would welcome more regular appearances in place of the
sanctimonious twit.

Listened to Dara on a long car journey. I felt he spoke a little too
much, not quite enabling his guests to say enough.
