Shut the #### up

I wish they's shut the thingy up about slavery. Vine was wittering on
about it today. It's like 200 years ago, & every time you turn on the
TV or radio they're on about it. 

....Who cares anymore!

Agreed!  Why do we have media and politicians that feel its necessary to try 
to make us feel guilty about things that went on hundreds of years ago?  I 
dont hear a clamour for the same apologies from the afro carribean people 
about their ancestors killing and (in some cases) torturing and eating white 
people either.

Its another good reason not to listen to the hype that is news theses days - 
and sadly BBC news is one of the worst offenders for political correctness 
there is.

I hope many still care ...take a trip to The Gambia and visit James Island 
and other stops on The Roots trip. We did that in February, its fascinating. 
Slavery has exitised for centuries and sadly still does now. Roots by Alex 
Hayley is well worth a read.
