Chart Commentary 4/11/06
Singles
-------
To my disappointment, McFly won the race to the #1 spot. I was greatly
surprised that Girls Aloud weren't #2 though - I can only assume the
vast majority of their fans are waiting for their Greatest Hits album
tomorrow.
NE's (inc.d/l climbers)
Top 10 : Fedde Le Grande #2, Beyonce #5, Amy Winehouse #7View
Top 20 : Bodyrox #11, Cassie #12, View #15, Magic Numbers #16, Rihanna
#17, Kooks #20
Top 30 : Raconteurs #22, Long Blondes #30
Top 40 : Upper Street #35, Cooper Temple Clause #36

------
To absolutely no-one's surprise, Robbie claims his 8th #1 album, albeit
with very disappointing (by his standards) sales, of 147k.

MCR #2, Meat Loaf #3, Rod Stewart #4, John Legend #10, Ordinary Boys
#15.
Next Week
---------
Singles
-------
Looks like a pretty quiet week to me, but even given that McFly's sales
plummet on week 2, I can see them remaining #1.

Top 20 : Jamiroquai, Basement Jaxx, Babyshambles, Keane
Top 30 : Cass Fox, Sean Paul, Tenacious D, Depeche Mode

Bearing in mind Robbie's 'atrocious' sales, Girls Aloud could well be
#1.
