Teeny spoiler 18th June
<Wedding ceremony in Wolverhampton>
Dr. Gupta: "And she's booked the venue. It's very spacious"
in the special version I get in my head, he completed the sentence
with "It's Molineux."

I understand very little of what's being discussed
but for some reason it's fascinating.

I'm beginning to find this storyline increasingly implausible. Who ever
heard of a heterosexual CofE vicar?

(Is that some commercial reference?)
I got the feeling from the coy way it was handled that it's the main
mosque (or Hindu equivalent) in Wolverhampton - sort of the equivalent
of what would be the local cathedral for a Christian.

Having seen a few family wedding get togethers around here where coaches
are booked and the cars left parked around the road all day, too right
the Wolverhampton venue will need to be 'very spacious'. I doubt the
combined congregations of every parish Alan is in charge of will have
anything on their Wolverhampton festivities.
Sincerely Chris

A sporting reference m'lud. Molineux is the home to Wolverhampton
Wanderers FC. Capacity 28,525 people. Plus some on the pitch.

You're probably closer to the truth than I am.

i find it hard to believe that the vicar in whose church i was a
choirboy (1950s) was other than straight.
you (mr. oxford) would probably have got on with him. on one occasion
he preached a sermon on the wonders of nuclear weapons, and then came
and berated my mother because some of his congregation had told him
they wouldn't be returning.
(my mother was active in cnd at the time.)
