There seems to be quite a rash of PI filmettes on the tv at the moment - 
I'm sure I even saw Joe and Petunia coming out of retirement the other 
day.  Is this a symptom of our present Government's obsession with 
Nannying us or does it suggest that commercial tv is such cr*p these 
days that advertisers don't want to be associated with it and the tv 
companies are having to look elsewhere to fill the time available?
