Accommodation needed near Borchester
I was trying to find a guest house a day or two ago, and realised that,
some time soon, I might need to stay near Borchester. I usually prefer
to stay somewhere outside main town centres, in the peace of the
countryside, and believe Ambridge is a village not too far away?

I wonder if any one here knows if Ambridge Hall is still doing B & B as,
from what I hear, it sounds just the sort of place I'm looking for.
Nothing ostentatious, just tasteful, comfortable accommodation.

Does anyone have a phone number, as I couldn't find it on Smoothound?
(Nor Borchester, come to that!)

I think you have inadvertently posted this to the wrong newsgroup,

Ambridge Hall is the place to stay.

What about Jenefer's cottages or Ruth's? Is Jill still looking after
those? If Jill were still the person and there to do breakfasts that
would be the nicest. Did she do breakfasts?

I think Ruth looks after the cottage(s) (I can't remember if it's only
Sam's Cottage or if there's a second one as well) nowadays, helped by
Emma. I think Lynda is the only one providing breakfast though; the
cottages are all self catering.
