Paul Temple and the Madison Mystery- off site backup
Hi all,
I'll be traveling for the next 6 weeks or so, and for various reasons,
including TWO broken computers, I'm hoping that someone will need
off-site backups of the above-mentioned series.
I'll be back home from 3 to 8 July and then on the 23rd, weather
willing.
UK 22 May to 28 May, mostly in Falmouth or transit.
Balkans, Slovenia, etc, on a motorcycle, for most of June, with a trip
to Fredreichstafen at the end of the month, then back on the 3rd.
After that, I'll be doing two weeks on the movie replica BOUNTY on the
west coast of the US and Canada.

That sounds fantastic, Doug. I hope you have a great time. I haven't
got to grips with all this iPlayer, RealPlayer WhateeveritisPlayer
stuff so I hope someone else can help you there. But I just wanted to
wish you a super time and hope that you'll look into umra whenever you
stumble across the odd internet cafe.

I didn't make a backup of episode 1, but I heard it in the car and
rather regretted my oversight. My system is now set to save the
remaining episodes - contact me when you're back. I may be able to
stream episode 1 to make up the numbers.

I'm downloading episode 1 now. I have a several of other Paul Temples
(1) in emmpee three format stashed on this 'ere machine too.
1 - or should that be Pauls Temple, rather like gins and tonic?

I understand very little of what's being discussed
but for some reason it's fascinating.

I think I've got most or all of the previous ones, and I can easily
listen to episode 1. It turns out, it's harder for me to listen to
TA in the UK than at home. Over there, I have to get the timing
right, and 2PM and 7PM are often awkward. I often loiter outside a
theatre for the evening show, though. Or I can hang out in an
internet cafe, if I can get enough bandwidth.
But two broken laptops makes it even more difficult.
I think I'll pick up a ASUS eee when I get back.
The later computer is going to cost more to fix than buying the
12GB Windows XP version of the eee.

I have no doubt they'll repeat it: they did the first one 2 or 3 times.
Talking of BBQs: jolly glad we didn't organise it for this weekend. Must
be the coldest May day we've had for many a year. And now its pouring
with rain.

Oh, so it's *your* fault we've got this weather then?

:-) Well, I thought we'd better not ask anyone to have the rain this
year as we had no good reason.

I think it's my fault over here - the rain started a couple of days
after I'd completed all the automatic watering systems :(
