LE52F96BD vs LE52A656A1
Hi,

So I've finally managed to narrow it down to these two models so I can
replace my 50" sony LCD rear projection.

I can get the LE52F96BD for around £1240 (3 yr warranty) and the
LE52A656A1 for around £1750 (3yr warranty).

The LE52F96BD has a 500,000:1 contrast ratio, and the LE52A656A1 has a
50,000:1, BUT it is 100Hz.

So the question is, is paying the extra £500 for 100Hz (main
difference), worth it? Or, is the money better spent on a new amp and
cables? I have been told that there is a noticable difference when
watching sports, which I will not do. My main use will be normal TV,
blue-ray and xbox360.

Many thanks in advance,

Mike
