Goodmans LCD sound problems
I have a goodmans LCD TV, HD with 2* scart, audio, svideo, HD outputs.
TV > Sky Box via scart. Sky box > DVD via scart
I connect to my Hi Fi but the only way I can obtain sound for both
sky/dvd/TV is by connecting audio outputs from the skybox to hi fi.
If I connect audio outputs from tv to hi fi I can get audio on TV but not
sky/dvd.
Any clues?

I'm sure you explain it above, but can you put it a bit plainer for me...
are you trying to get sound from your tv or from the hi fi?
Or both?

I'd be looking in the menu for some form of dubbing or recording settings
etc as the audio outs from a TV will usually follow what's on screen. If
they don't I'd call it a fault.

Are you sure your cables are connected to "audio out" ports?
Most tellies have sockets for audio & video in, but not all have them coming
out. ...Or at least, the audio out ports might not be where you expect them
(they're often under a flip-panel or something)
Or maybe there's a menu option to select 'External sound' or 'audio
output/throughput' ?
You've probably checked things like that, but that's as much as I can think
of just at the moment.
Someone at www.avforums.co.uk might know the precise tv/ settings.

Re: Goodmans LCD sound problems
Thanks, tried connecting to audio out ports. Spent many hours on the menu
options, I can get sound from TV to Hi Fi with these but then I lose sound
from Sky & DVD.
I'll try your link, Thanks
