Hi All

I have recently moved my Panasonic PT-AX100 projector and screen into 
another room. Previously, I had just been using my HiFi system for 2-ch 
audio. It's good sound, but not surround.

The new room will allow reasonable placement for a 5.1 system, but what 
parts to choose?
The projector has a single HDMI input, but ideally, it'd be nice to feed 
this from either the DVD player or PC; so HDMI switching in the amp/receiver 
would be useful here. Does HDMI have audio in the signal stream too?
The PC has 7.1 analog audio out only, the DVD player has 5.1 and/or optical.

If an amp that does all of this is expensive, then I may go with a cheaper 
alternative until I can upgrade ( something like

For speakers, I was looking at these

These look far more substantial than Tannoy EF5.1s which are a similar price 
(I already have a pair of M-S speakers and am very happy with them).

Room size is about 3.6 x 5m, and budget of about £500.
