OT:Printer / Scanner Recommendation?
Any recommendations for a cheap (£40) inkjet printer/scanner?

Cheers

Oh people, know that you have committed great sins.
If you ask me what proof I have for these words,
I say it is because I am the punishment of God.
If you had not committed great sins,
God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you.

While I wouldn't necessarily write-off all of them, I would suggest you
check a site like www.choicestationery.co.uk to see the price of ink
(and compatibles) before you buy.

One ink cartridge for the cheaper printers can often cost as much (or
more) than the actual printer itself.
Buying a decent printer for twice the price can often pay for itself
within weeks/months depending on how often you use it.
Even for small-time users though, a cheaper printer can cost more than a
more expensive one within a year.

Went for a Brother DCP135 at £45 and replacement cartridges at £38 <LOL>

Still, it will do the job for the kids
