Hi All..
Just started watching a few fansubs 'Allison and Lillia' seems to be a good
World war 1 story - retold -
Wagaya no oinri-sama - Story of Fox Spirit protecting a family - she
becomes a he as it suits her or him ...
Kanokon - another fox spirit all loved up ( while she is in season ) with a
human - as is a wolf spirit all going to same school
To Love ru - the Alien princess in love with an earthling and betrothed
when the guy touched her chest.
Kyouran Kazoku - Cat girl along with a variety of 'siblings' which are
animal and metal all living as a family - this one so far
has my interest compared to the others.
Kure-nai - Teen boy looking after an abused young girl - very deliberate
violence against women by the head of the family
I don't like the content so I've not persued this one ...

Gee, where have I heard /that/ story before?
(Still waiting for fansubs of Library Wars, which seems to be about the
only interesting new show of the season.)

Perhaps he was really after the treasure kept in it...

Ooh! Is there a Yomiko Reading-woman type (ideally Meganekko) in the
library?

Don't know whether they're Yomiko-types, but there are (at least) two
meganekko in "Toshokan Sensou - Library War".
(I'm waiting for a fansub of it, too...)

Yep, I'd spotted that as well - thanks.
Unfortunately it turns out not to be very good. Who'd've thought it was
possible to mess up gun-toting guerrilla librarians? <sigh>

I suspect this might be because of the pretty poor quality of the
translation.
The fansub I'm currently watching seems to have substantially mangled
the explanation of the basic premise compared to the one explained on
IG's website. The fansub seems to suffer the problem of literally
translating idioms. "Quit if you are always going to be in the sports
mindset!" for instance...
I'm going to wait for more experienced fansub groups do their versions
before making an opinion about the show...

This is a scenario that I cannot easily imagine -- and that is after
seeing what Rachel Weisz did to the library in Cairo in "The Mummy"...

I imagine that whoever supplied those had a 'binding' contract...

No great surprise there, of course, Mister Clever Clogs :-)
