Ah, that confirms my suspicion that it's some secret code used by the CoM. ^_^

Tentacle monsters are not our department - well, not until they get to
the stage of destroying Tokyo, anyway. No, I'm just intrigued by the
link between terrible, nightmarish creatures from the beyond and Chibi-Usa.

	Chibi-Usa: instant SAN check fail.

Isn't that like asking about the link between giant, heavily-armed,
man-shaped weapons of mass destruction and a Gundam?

Don't forget Tentacool and Tentacruel, which are both Pokemon. The
giant Tentacruel in one episode (and used in the original series'
opening title sequence) was quite capable of demolishing any city.

Ahh! For that you might find the TV series stories involving
psychic-type Pokemon of interest, such as the sunken ship story, the
ghostly-type occupied house episode, and the one featuring a child with
psychic powers and appropriate 'Mon in her collection.

Whatever the topic -- including a giant robot (whose local community
were "helped" by Team Rocket!) -- it has probably been covered at some
time, in one or other of the series.

It is a fascinating subject; and I started only because we began selling
little bean-bag toys, with attached decriptions, when I worked at Asda.
As I was (by that time) the weekend Greeter, and as always I tried to
learn at least something about what we were selling, I looked it up and
quickly found myself caught up in the complex world of Pokemon.

Sorry, you fail your "Write like Lovecraft" exam. To qualify, all
paragraphs must include the word "cyclopean" at least once.

HPL once achieved the previously-believed-to-be-impossible feat of
using that word 3 times in a single paragraph. I think it was in "The
Colour Out Of Time", but I may be mis-remembering.

[1] Worryingly, I am now thinking about the feasibility of a
BESM/Cthulhu Now crossover RPG (pace Pokethulhu, which I don't count -
it looks more like a card game than an RPG). This may be the first RPG
that requires the GM to track his own SAN stat...
