That says a lot. If the BBC gets to control the terms and conditions of
the license, then there's the proof that it's nothing but something to
fund the BBC.

The record appears to be stuck. Give yourself a sharp thump on the
side of your head.

Tedious, isn't it? When all someone has is the same argument they post
again and again and again. Each time seemingly oblivious to the number of
times the issue has already been posted or addressed. It's almost like you
could turn any argument you want into a war of attrition using this process.
So I have to ask you this;
If the sole purpose of the license is to fund the BBC, why does the TV
License site not mention it?

It's quite evident you seem to be the one wound up by this. I am perfectly
satisfied that the official license website agrees with me.

Oh, you missed this:
"This website is operated by the British Broadcasting Corporation in its
capacity as the Licensing Authority and by its agents, trading as 'TV
Licensing' of 100 Temple Street, Bristol BS1 6AB ('we')."
So, they own it-they gain any revenue collected by it.

Why are you posting common knoweldge as if you are telling people something
new? If the sole purpose of the license is to fund the BBC, why does the TV
License site not mention it?

Because people won't just admit basic facts that are staring them in the
face. I seek to battle ignorance wherever I find it :)

That was OFF the website, I chose not to provide the cite so you could
fill some time finding it.
Why publish something 'bleeding obvious' - Harrods don't say 'any money
colected will go into Fayed's arse pocket.
You are just being very silly now, good ting schools go back on Monday,
perhaps you can ask a teacher to explain it to you.
