Cambridge Film Project
This summer, a dedicated and talented team of independent filmmakers - a
mixture of Cambridge students and professionals - will be making a short
film based on the story "Breaking Sugar" by the 2007 "Costa Book of the
Year" winner A. L. Kennedy. The film is a tale of trust, the search for
excitement, and takes a sensitive but humorous look at human interactions.

We are currently looking for a filming location in the South-East of
England. The location would preferably be in or close to Cambridge,
although we would also be interested to hear about locations in London
or close to London. The shoot will take place during July 2008.

We are looking for a house with a kitchen that is light, relatively
large, and with a door which opens out onto a garden. We also need a
bedroom, or a room that could be made to look like a bedroom. The
kitchen and bedroom could be in separate locations, although one house
containing all the rooms would be preferable. We are flexible in our
needs and will consider houses in all states of repair.

If you know of anywhere that might be available, please get in touch
with us - we would be immensely grateful! We are working on an ultra low
budget with a very small crew, but would of course cover any
costs(electricity, gas) incurred during the shoot, and give you a big
thanks in the credits! Even if you yourself cannot help us, please get
in touch if you know of anyone else that might be able to help, or a
location that might be suitable.

We are very happy to provide more information on the film and discuss
any practical issues, and look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks!

Can you help? Please contact Ben at: bks25@cam.ac.uk
