But most of us just get a crappy "public pretender" and they often
don't even bother to point out facts that are already in evidence!
Have you got that quote you mentioned about the dismal
incompetence of attorneys in general?
There's a huge disparity between representation of ordinary
citizens versus people who can hire the dream team kind
of lawyers and consultants.
To keep pointing out that people get all of the justice they
can buy is to acknowledge problems that run very deep.
This partly makes most families in the USA fertile
ground for the abusive agencies and "pretenders"
who protect the system FROM the citizens and
not vice versa.
Most people honestly get screwed because their
attorney is too lazy and too willing to cooperate.
I WISH I could afford an attorney like Ron Isaacs who
would actually AFFORD me a vigorous defense.
I am SO SICK of attorneys who are so reticent
and submissive that they are basically apologists
for the system. They don't work the levers they
are supposed to.
The few attorneys who actually do afford their
clients a VIGOROUS defense in Family Court
are quickly seen as a threat to the system and
blackballed with a steamroller of false accusations.
The more a person sees how the system REALLY
works, the more it becomes apparent that
our highest ideals (Constitution, civility) are
really a sham, a big broken promise.
