Hi All

Monmouth Taxis can now announce the launch of it's affiliattes programme for

If you have a web site in Wales then you can earn commissions on sales of

If you are a web designer you can offer our proframme to your clients and
earn an overide commission on all sales produced from that site.

thanks
Kevin

Of course, there are quite a lot of us who will simply make a mental
note never to deal with a firm which spams newsgroups, on the basis
that it is safer to not to deal with firms with a record of unethical
behaviour. One fewer to phone about collecting rels from Heathrow next
week!

Hi Percy

I think you need to look into the definition of spam.

2 things -

1. The message is not indescriminate. The postings have gone to groups
concerning Wales which is the area I operate in, so is of benefit to readers
of this newsgroup and other news groups that it has been posted to.

2. I have followed usenet protocol of clearly marking my post as an advert.
Use of AD, ADV or ADVERT I assume is still the current protocol for usenet
commercial postings. This allow usenet users to filter out adverts if they
so wish.

Many thanks
Kevin

Suppose I might forgive you for acting in ignorance. The charter
for this group, following the uk.local hierarchy model charter is
at:

http://www.usenet.org.uk/uk.local.west-wales.html

Seeing as that URL is unobtainable here at the moment I'll give you
an extract from a cached page at Google:

"Commercial advertising is un-welcome, although a company reference
in a signature not exceeding four lines is acceptable."

The point being, of course, that while your advert on its own does
not interrupt the flood of erudite conversation on the group, if no-
one says anything we could get a lot more.
