Breakfast
Can anyone recommend a greasy spoon cafe in Liverpool for a decent
Sunday breakfast? My favourite was Izzy's on Edge Lane but it seems to
have closed?

Yours hungrily,

Phil

Can't remember the name of it but there is one on the traffic lights at
Rathbone Rd/Binns Rd. I was in there last week, excellent. Closes about
2/3pm on a Sunday.

No problem , living in Florida now you just raised a few memories of the
all night places that I used to go to after leaving the clubs , that's why I
asked what was on the menu . When did they start serving hash over there ?
I'm suspecting it was after the cheap flights to Orlando/Disney .

Re: Breakfast
Phil,
Hash browns are just jazzed up fried potatos! They creep in here and there.
When I was out on the town (late 1950's) we would round off the evening at a
pie stall at the Pier Head and get pies covered in brown sauce that dripped
gravy down your suit as you dashed for the last bus. Life was simpler then!

Dave
