New Waltham, Grimsby, info needed
I am interested in researching the former Naval Radio Station at Peaks Lane,
New Waltham.
Anyone in that area have any old photographs or related info ?
As a Naval station it may have been officially called HMS.................?
Anyone know the name (if that was so )
Any information, history........photos.........newspaper articles........or
perhaps a website address, would be greatly appreciated.
Replace the obvious for email:

Re: New Waltham, Grimsby, info needed
I remember them being removed but little else. I would suggest the Grimsby
Telegraph would have a wealth of information, if not could possibly point
you in the right direction.

Re: New Waltham, Grimsby, info needed
It was always known locally as Waltham Wireless, but I think that the
official name was something like Humber Radio Station.
