I used to live in Lincoln many years ago. I am pretty sure that there used to be a Fire Station on Monks Road (at Lindum Hill end). My wife says there wasn't. Anyone confirm - plus what happened to it.

I "think" it is now part of Lincoln College. The double-doors are still there with the words "Fire Station" in the stone above.
