I used to live in Lincoln many years ago.

I am pretty sure that there used to be a Fire Station on Monks Road
(at Lindum Hill end).

My wife says there wasn't.

Anyone confirm - plus what happened to it.

The main fire station for Lincoln was on Monks Roas, it closed when the 
new station opened on South Park Avenue.

I "think" it is now part of Lincoln College.

The double-doors are still there with the words "Fire Station" in the stone 
above.

Yes, correct, it is part of the college now, has been for many years.
