Hi, does anyone know of a lettings agency or landlord who accepts tenants on
DSS/Housing Benefit? I need to find somewhere in the next couple of weeks,
looking for a flat/house or even a furnished room in a shared house.

Can you get hold of the Lincolnshire Echo as in the classifieds it lists 
rooms etc which are available to DSS etc?  Property guide comes out on a 
Friday which may list more.

Try ringing the County Council for a list of letting agencies as I believe 
they need to be approved for DSS/Housing Benefits purposes.  Tel no is 
listed here with some more info

The 4th one on the list allows DSS but Scampton is about 7 miles from 
Lincoln.

Try Rightmove and do a search on rental properties.  Here is the web link
