NTL/Virgin Media broadband users
Is anybody else in the Lincoln area having problems with their net
connection? Since we had an outage of around 6 hours last Thursday, the
connection speeds have been pathetic with a max of around 500k download even
though we are on the 2mb package.

Similar problem here (Grimsby) since Saturday. I'm getting 1mb speed and am
on the 4mb package. Don't download a lot (23mb so far today) so it can't be
the new throttling they've just brought in (or can it ?).

Also ATM unable to get to many websites :-(

Getting fed up - after nearly 5 years of good service from NTL it is now
getting terrible :-(

Lincoln Area, Tuesday 9:00 pm

Your estimated download speed is: 546 kbits/sec - (0.53Mb) - (68 KBytes/sec)
You told us your speed was Up to 4Mb and your ISP: NTL

But only last month was saying how fast it was, so highly varible

Anyone want to test out their speed

Lincoln Area, Tuesday 9:00 pm

Your estimated download speed is: 546 kbits/sec - (0.53Mb) - (68 KBytes/sec)
You told us your speed was Up to 4Mb and your ISP: NTL

But only last month was saying how fast it was, so highly varible

Anyone want to test out their speed

Similar problem here (Grimsby) since Saturday. I'm getting 1mb speed and am
on the 4mb package. Don't download a lot (23mb so far today) so it can't be
the new throttling they've just brought in (or can it ?).

Also ATM unable to get to many websites :-(

Getting fed up - after nearly 5 years of good service from NTL it is now
getting terrible :-(
