Self-destruct?
The government seem bent on it. Is there anyone who, if they have listened
to government spin over the last few weeks, hadn't been led to believe that
Brown was going to crown his relaunch with monetary help for the poor for
their energy bills? Only last weekend there was Brown spouting on about he
was listening to people and and was getting on with the job to do all he can
to help them with rising food and energy prices. Last night he announced
there would be no money to help the poor. It seems that a one off solution
is too "short term". He is going to help them with lagging their lofts so
they save money in the "long term". I sure my old Dad , who is in his 90s,
and other elderly people will be delighted that they will be given a long
term solution to their energy bills. All Brown has done has fed more gloom
and disillusionment. Why doesn't he be honest for once and just tell
everyone there is f*ck all we can do to help you because like Mother
Hubbard, our cupboard is bare!

... because they (Ministers) are so insulated from reality, they think that
everyone has 3 houses, a 100k expense account and a fleet of cars and
assistants. Also probably find anyone who hasn't reached these lofty
heights of existance ridiculous and down to their own poverty induced
lazyness and ineptitude :-)
Remember what I said about our new royal family a long time ago? Can't you
hear the sound of "let them eat cake" bouncing around those corridors of
power?
When the times are hard - that's when you see what people are made of and I
don't think there is one person in any party that is currently going to have
the stones to take us through what it looks like is coming.

I wasn't led to believe any such thing. I knew the cunt was lying once again.
Nulabour don't give fuck about the poor, about hard working famillies, about
the working class except at election time. The wheel 'em out as required then
punt them back into the lower drawer when it's over. They do care about the
middle and upper middle classes but they really love the class they most
aspire to the filthy stinking rich. (I'm talking about tthe MPs, MSP, MEPs NOT
yer ordinary party member who gets shit on from a far higher height than we do.
The elected members rarely socialize with then now!)

There is no money for the poor because the corporations and industrialists
nulabour have been cosying up to have left the country and based themselves
else where. In any case the money would be taken from one set of the poor
to give to another. The stinking filthy rich, who by the way pay next to no tax,
have the money but no way will this bunch touch them.

Yes. He raises expectations he cannot satisfy. The man is out of touch with
the "common man", "hard working famillies" and political reality but I bet the
elected members are well in touch with their individual bank ballance.
I reckon he believes he can con us all of the time. It's trully sick. Some of
those bastards are running around with two houses furnished by the people
who are about to lose the only one thay have. I could point out more of the
benefits of our elected reps but I would need a sick bag handy.

Look. Why don't you get a life! Honesty in a politician. No wonder the
country is so fucked up. The cupboard is not bare. We cah spend billions
on wars far away, on all sorts of aid, bailling out financial houses..........
......feathering the nests of MPs, MSPs. MEPS...who sit back and tell us what
they cannot do for us. Our money. Get yer head out of your fucking arse and
look around you.
And bye the way I hold the Tory Party, the English voter for the fucking mess
this cunt Salmon is about to sink us into.
Honesty in a politician.
Thankyou for your interest.
Bill.

8/10 for content, 10/10 for emotion. Nice one Bill - I agree with most of

If Brown is so bad why is he still in power ? Does a vote of confidence work
these days ,if it does then his party has to agree with him dont blame other
partys for the situation . Regarding the "poor" many goverments creat them
and keep them that way so they can throw them a crumb or two and buy their
votes at election times
