Olympic finale? Embarrassing!
Were "Lord" Coe and "Lord" Moynihan drunk when Boris, in usual buffoon manor
chatted to a BBC interviewer? Boris, acting the buffoon I can just about
stomach, at least he is acting and is very intelligent behind the facade.
But Coe and Moynihan, ugh, the worst type of hangers on! Make me cringe and
puke!

And our presentation? Wtf was that? After the best and biggest spectacle the
world has ever seen we did what? A London bus with David Beckham kicking a
ball on it. It does not bode well for 2012.

If it means we don't waste money on it, I'm all for reusing some old buses.

Well, we waste a lot more on education judging by the phoney GCE results so
I'm all for putting on a spectacle which might lift our spirits.

Does anything bode well for 2012? Missed it unfortunately. Mind you I do
like Boris... he makes me chuckle. Hate Coe.... idiot!

Lol, seriously did we really have Beckham (lovely as he is) on a bus???
lmao. It is just what my friend and I suspected for the opening ceremony for
2012!!!!

Do you mean CSCE? ;-) Oh it annoys me when people put any results down, my
daughter did so badly in her mocks but tried harder and excelled herself in
her GSCE's and so I was very upset when people said results that year (ok it
was three years ago) were somewhat phoney too....

As for our Olympics ... I hope we do make an impact, heard someone on tv say
that "it's not all about fireworks".... crikey.... Beijing wasnt all about
that, I was quite impressed and it's the most of the Olympics I've ever
watched!

Well, I don't do personal on exam results so I'll not comment on your
example. She's got enough other advantages going for her anyway :-)

But if the proportion of people getting "A" grades gets higher each year
that can only mean two things. Either the kids are getting more clever or
the standards are dropping. No prizes for my choice. I did hear someone
repeat one of the questions the other day, "How many in a pair?". Lol,
probably apocryphal but maybe not!
And maths, physics and chemistry? Not even taught these days is it?

I don't normally do Olympics. But this time it was compulsive viewing. More
so because the usual suspects, Russia, USA and Australia were so crap. And
the BMX competition? Did you see it? Very exciting.
