What is the difference between...
Europe and Zimbabwe? Not much by all accounts.
They both have the occasional election and when the result is not what the
powers that be desire they either ignore it, or repeat it with appropriate
threats until they get the answer they want.
If the current shenanigans in European capitals attempting to
"find a way forward" have not finally destroyed the myth that the European
Union is democratic then nothing will. The behaviour of the Millipede and
his Euro cohorts is a disgrace.

More people in Europe wear rings through their noses, ears and lips than the
people of Zimbabwe.

We are supposed to be civilised and to have progressed beyond the need to
dress as warriors:-) I was on a bus the other day where there was an
overweigh young blonde with spiky punk hair, heavily tattooed arms and metal
through every visible feature on her face.A middle aged black lady came on
and looked in vain for a seat other than beside the bedecked tattooed lady.

The problem here exists purely in the (closed) mind of this middle aged
person.
The only difference between those with tattoos and piercings and those
without is that those without don't care that those without don't have any.

Quote from Archie Rice in John Osborne's The Entertainer: 'Thank God I'm
normal'
I would add than God that I am not manky:-)
Manky is one of many dialect words that come from French. It would appear
that many dialect speakers took the adage 'Cleanliness is next to godliness'
seriously, for dialects abound in words meaning 'dirty'. These include
boggin, clarty, clabbery, cloggy, mucky, and smalmy.

An interesting comment seeing how I've said nothing about you.
Perhaps you'd like to elucidate your original comment before this descends
into petty bickering and name calling.
