Man arrested for stopping lout
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/topstories/2007/10/20/man-arrested-for-stopping-lout-89520-19981083/

Businessman David Bamber thought he was doing the right thing by making
a 12-year-old litter lout pick up his rubbish.

But he ended up being arrested on suspicion of assault, held for eight
hours and swabbed for DNA.

Mr Bamber, in his 50s, said: "The kid ripped up a load of pamphlets and
threw them in the street.

"I grabbed his coat and said I'm not letting go until you pick it up."

The boy's mum threatened to call police but Mr Bamber, who runs a waste
firm, called them himself and they arrested HIM.

Six weeks later he was told there was no case while the boy was let off.

He is now fighting to get his DNA off the database.

He said: "I've been criminalised but I'm not a criminal." Portsmouth
police said holding someone's clothing could be assault.

Should English taxpayers fund Scottish healthcare?

The short answer is YES!
