A millionaire living in Solent View Road, Gurnard has built a swimming pool 
in his garden then lowers adjoining fences to 'show off' to neighbours.

Just the sort of people who need 'driving' off our island. The neighbour was 
elderly and had lived there most of her life and isn't particularly well 
off. Is this a good advert of modern society we should all have to live 
with? Over the top arrogance and 'look at me' attitudes.

I actually have no problem with arrogance, can be a very positive mental 
attitude managed correctly

Well, if his intention was to create envy he has certainly succeeded in your

I don't suppose it crossed your simple mind that perhaps he just likes 
swimming, and doesn't want to share a public pool with dirty oiks like you?
Or perhaps he gets more rental for Cowes Week if it has a pool.

My money's on him lowering his fence to make it easier for his elderly 
neighbour to get over to use the pool.
