Island campaigns
An ongoing campaign idea I am setting up calling for the banning of 'Chelsea
Tractors' or most commonly known SUV or 4x4's. These monstrous vehicles are
not only a drain on resources but add massively to global warming and
climate change.
The Isle of Wight has recently been given the title of an 'Eco Island' and
aims to become one of the greenest places in the UK under main and local
government plans. Whilst an increasing number of fuel hungry and road
wearing Chelsea Tractors burden our roads, the Island currently resides top
of the list for fuel inefficiency and SUV's per head in the UK causing
concern to the Councils billed 'Eco Island'.
The only answer is to ban these vehicles from island roads thus boosting the
Islands status massively. Ferry companies will be urged to increase ferry
prices further or ban them completely from sailings altogether. Actions
speak louder than words.
Also on a sour note for those who live in Wellow, I will be refuelling the
debate of wind turbines. Now I know the Wellow residents got their own way,
they managed to get the turbines voted out. However I plan to encourage and
campaign for a 500% council tax increase in the Wellow area residents to put
towards alternative, more expensive energy generation of which the
traditional energy making devices were deemed 'inappropriate' for that area.
The Wellow residents selfishness has severely damaged local environmental
issues and these people need to subsidise these other schemes accordingly
and even partake in higher engery bills for this area.
They can't have it their way.

you have no ongoing plan....you only add 'comments' here once CEEBEEBIES
has finished thus exposing the reason for you childishness.
You have some delusion that you are winning some form of battle here,
but the only reality is that you are exposing yourself to more and more
ridicule.
Your contribution to any real debate here is nominal so I guess the
residents of Wellow are really worried.
Your dreams of granduer are as misplaced as your negative attitude

Some of us don't want to hide under a rock and hope it 'all blows over'.
You're the negative ones.

Amazing how such few people 'bite' in here yet aren't prepared to tackle
real life 'serious' issues.
