and on uk.food and drink as well.

He's bought a new camera so is now an expert photographer.
Perhaps he will upload some pictures of his war medals (how many has he got
again?)

Oh.... :0)
He posted a link to a web album site with pictures of his tree in his garden
...
For .."er outdoors" he comments.
Reminded me of an exchange i had with him over who was the gardener chez
crowe.....
The discussion suited him to say he was and when I explained he had posted
that his wife was *the* gardener he huffed and puffed about it.
Good to see he's still claiming the wife to be the gardener...
I remember fondly when arthur was here... he had some good friends who lived
a couple of doors away from mike and so knew all about his garden.....!!
It really was fun to hear mike huff and puff about this oasis in suburban
Lake and Arthur to tell us what it was really like..... good days.
I'm off over to uk food and drink now....

Oh yes, I wasn't posting here then but I remember reading something about
"How do you know about that, you can't see it from the road" - "where did I
say I was looking from the road?".
I also remember the time Mike was boasting about a developer's offer for
his house, and Arthur was able to gently break the news to him that the
development was cancelled. Had to grin at that one.
Must confess I did divert off the main road once to see what all the fuss
was about. From all the descriptions on the gardens group about his
wonderful location on the south coast of the Island, I was expecting at
least a sea view. Reality was rather different - sited nicely between a busy
suburban street and a railway embankment.

That's right......
It was also during these moments that mike's pomposity got carried away with
what he had achieved, how succesful he had been, business's etc., even the
ridiculous prevarication after he claimed he had *been* to Bath University
[..we deduced he had been to an Open University summer school there.. ] and
much more for someone to post up his address in Lake which, with all due
respect, did not really concur this self image of success.
It's strange he took such offence to the little tiff he had here a while
back...... out of character almost for someone so narcistic...
The post about Premium Bonds to at least two groups that he's made is
masking something, I'll warrant.....
