Computer recycling?
Anyone know places to take redundant computer
equipment, in small quantities, in Herts,
particularly mid-Herts?

In Hatfield we had a charity shop which did this,
and to make way for more kit at home, I took some
in today to be met with "Noo, we can't take computers
any more. Not allowed to, it's the mercury. European
regulations."

If this is a RoHS offshoot, it's barmy, as selling
kit on for further use keeps it away from landfill
for longer.

Cheers,
Francis K.
