Having read some of the newsgroup posts by certain medical practitioners in the past I am not at all surprised at what has been happening this last week. Judgementalism has no place within UK medicine; this is _why_ medicine, medical education and hospitals rose to grand heights in this country on the strength of Christian values. Allowing the break down of medical provision at a local level and taking it into an international arena is the most stupid move the medical profession has made. Any faith which calls a man to judge his neighbour rather than love him cannot right perceived wrongs in love. Such judgements only call for retribution, unrighteous law and control, sometimes in extreme forms too. Whilst the science maybe the same, cultural values are not ! In Christ's love Carol T
