Used to be a Sunday car boot east of Andover. Haven't been in
the area for ages but it might still be there.

Thruxton airport ?
Does anyone know if the agricultural/tat auction, in a field somewhere near
Cadnam, is
still going ?

Chichester has a big car boot sale in the old market on Sundays. It starts
at 12 noon and this is strictly enforced. So no need to get up too early
although I am sure that is dawn to some of you :-). I know Chichester is
not Hampshire but pretty close to those of us in the east of the county.
Regards.

Is there still an agricultural/tat auction held in a street somewhere in
Chichester ? I last went to it a long time ago.

The weekday market in Chichester is on Wednesdays. The live animal side of
it finished some years ago. I have not been there midweek for a couple of
years so I do not know whether or not there is still a 'tat' auction.

You probably mean the one at Netley Marsh on the A336 Totton to Cadnam Road.
It's on Sundays from Easter, but not The Steam Rally Weekend (Next weekend)

You could see the field travelling along , to the south side of, the M27 or
A31, but I don't remember where. It was Saturday mornings, serious tat
though , used corrugated iron, clapped out spares from ag vehicles ,
domestic junk, etc

The other 'East', close to the A303 near Picket Twenty Farm.

Another one I haven't seen in years. Used to be South-West
of junction 2 (i.e. directly South of Paulton's Park) in the
strip of land formed between the M27 and A31 where both run
straight and parallel for a mile or so.
