Digital problems
Has anyone else been experiencing problems with the digital
transmissions from the Hannington mast?

Over the past 2 days I have found that, although I am receiving the
picture and sound as normal, and the signal strength bar indicates 100%,
some of the channels are not displaying any information about the
programme or the one after.

It only affects the channels associated with UHF channel 43, which are
ITV1, Channel 4, ITV2, ITV3, Channel 4+1, More 4, ITV4 and E4,but this
is not the first time that I have had problems with that particular
channel.

Any experts out there with the answer?

I'm receiving all Freeview channels loud and clear - and I'm right on the
margin of its signal.

Does your TV update itself automatically when the channel line-up changes?
You may find it helpful to do a new channel search or set-up search.

Rowridge for my area and no recent problems.
As the other replier said, whenever there are quirky issues , it is well
worth re-scanning the channels.

A friend in Newbury has a brand-new dedicated digital receiver, and when
we checked last night he was experiencing exactly the same problem with
the lack of information, although the picture and sound were perfect.

Yes, exactly the same as your problem. The information for channels on
UHF 43 doesn't always update. It seems variable, but we're in a fringe
area. We've had the same problem ever since Freeview went live so it
doesn't look like it's going away soon. There's no problem with picture
or sound on any channel.
