(R) 18-0
Aldershot Town Ladies bounced back from their disappointing defeat at
the Rec a fortnight ago to obliterate Reading Ladies in a match that
had Aldershot's name written all over it.

In an extraordinary match, the Shots blitzed Reading 18-0 to progress
to the next round of the Southern Region League Cup.

5-0 up at the break, the Shots then stormed the second half with a
further five in the opening 15 minutes of the second half.

The Shots were in full flow throughout and there was never any danger
of 'keeper Hayley Calder conceding due to fine work from all 11
players on the pitch.

The result of today's match will not only be a confidence-booster for
the players, but the piggy bank will swelling after earning over £300
of sponsorship money.

Snip

So why did the ref allow the game to continue when Aldershot's name was
obscuring the view of the hapless Reading 'keeper? No wonder Aldershot
ladies scored goals with aplomb, relish, and gusto when the Reading keeper
couldn't see a f*****g thing for the Copperplate Gothic Bold

I thought those sports bras were designed to stop that sort of thing.

I didn't realise that Aldershot Town were a ladies football team, so I was
right when I said you should watch rugby a mans game.
