local history
There's an old road that runs up from Milford, just outside Belper called
the Chevin. I've been up along there a few times now, and am interested to
know the history of the odd wall that stands in a field to the east of the
Chevin. Does anyone have any information on this?
Whenever I see it I'm reminded of a folly, as the wall is too high and too
short to be called a wall...

thanks in advance!
