Altrincham twinning?
I've just been into the town for the first time in ages and I'm amazed at
the state of the place . Stamford New Road is one way and a mass of
roadworks Regent Street is closed at the bottom end and George St is more or
less rubble at the eastern end. I think we should be looking at twinning the
town with somewhere similar say Ground Zero or Beirut or maybe Baghdad? How
on earth can a council allow this to happen are they trying to dry up the
town ,drive out the traders and force shoppers to the Trafford Centre.
