Social Work and Care system is rubbish
DON'T ever complain about Scottish Borders Care or Workers as they
will get you back somehow. I got refused Direct Payments even after
two people told me I was eligible for them. I think their assessment
of me was to shut me up over complaing about a Social Worker they had
to remove from Scotland and because i put a complaint in about the
carers. I've been strung along for months and now even in very bad
pain and several disabilities I can't get care. So how is it that
somebody about 16 miles from me can claim it and built a barbie lovely
garden summerhouse, climb on the roof and put a weathervane up and
walk straight then when going into a surgery or around health people
claim DLA, Direct payments Carers allowance and get away with it. I
guess I should have lied about how bad I actually was.

And to cap it all off they can't even spell my name right. I'll be
retiring in a few years time but I'll die first rather than let the
Social Services ever come near me again.

Oh yes and the day after I was refused the OT then said she could try
to get me 45 minutes a week to get help for a shower. For gods sake I
have ME and bad pain. It takes me almost 4 hours to shower and dress
to go out. I've refused. I get the feeling that they want me to either
give up and finish myself off so I'm not on their books anymore or
have an accident where they can convientally take over my life.
