Chirnside Xmas tree lights.
After an absence of a year or so due to vandalism we got aChristmas
tree this year at Crosshill. It was nice to see it and the reaction of
the small children as they passed it. However, the mindless vandals
still managed to break some of the bulbs and remove them.(Shame they
didn't mage to give themselves electric shocks when they damaged or
unscrewed the bulbs) But the tree is still lit with the missing bulbs
and has provided pleasure to many this xmas. Well done the Council and
probably the community council who probably influenced the decision to
put a tree up. Cross Hill area looked lovely with all the festive
lights.
