Last week the government minister Alan Johnson announced that they
would pay pregnant mothers in their seventh month of pregnancy a
special food allowance, wow what a bright idea that is, another of
New
Labours hairbrained schemes, paying woman who are pregnant extra
money
is stupid, they choose to get pregnant and have a child, if they
cannot afford to have a child then they should wait untill they can
afford it, while Alan Johnson was announcing this he forgot one very
vulnerable group of our society, pensioners, why are they always
forgotten? OK so the government gives pensioners a winter fuel
payment, that goes no where, many pensioners these days are living in
terrible poverty, they are going without food, going without the
basics of normal life.
The politics in this country are all back to front, this government
spends billions of our money on schemes which we know will fail from
the start, pensioners of this country have earned the right to live
decently, pensioners should not be suffering from malnutrition,
malnutrition in our NHS hospitals is a disgrace, what has this nation
come to, spend money on the things that the people need, ask the
voters, they dare not do that, they might get a answer they dont
like.
I saw this e-petition on the number 10 downing st.website
http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/freshfruitveg/ is is a very worthwhile e-
petition to sign, everybody should take a look at it and sign it and
help the poorest of pensioners in this once great country.

So we ignore the birth of the new and concentrate on.....

....That's right, we plough money into the dying! Knew you had a valid point
somewhere...

And they die decently too. Many countries don't offer a state funeral. If
they cant afford to eat, then rest assured they wont have made provisions
for a proper disposal, so who pays for that - given that its just around the
corner...?

The grey-pound is on the way out, thats why the money is being spent
elsewhere, invest in voters who will stick by you in the next four years,
not in folk who'll be dead in one or two.
