Coming up to Scotland (Culzean Castle) from Nottingham, for Retrofest.

Every festival in England has been blighted by rain / flooding / mud.

I've heard mention of similar in Wales.

BUT, I've never heard anything about events in Scotland having any problems 
this year.

Is this right?

I'm bringing my wellies anyway, just wondered if any locals had any inside 
info?

Also, I hate going to places for something, doing the something and then 
coming straight back. Can you tell me anywhere that I should visit after the 
festival? Pubs, clubs, shops, p.o.i. etc.

I'm a 34 y.o. male btw. Which may affect answers to the above.

You have posted to a special newsgroup set up by
the the NuLabour Government to plug the gaps created by

of nutters out there howling at the moon and frightening the
shit out of their neighbours. Another of HMGs aims and 
objectives was to provide a distraction to take their minds
of the problem of who they were next going to knife to death.
Unfortunately, this group has been taken over by the 
articulate lower middle classes who have succeeding in 
driving HMGs target audience away. Independent research has
shown that it was the amount and quality of the inane drivel,
called small talk which the middle classes are adept at, which
had the effect of doing their heads in. They left to protect what 
was left of their sanity. This has happened to the whole of uk.local.
hierarchy.  This newsgroup in particular is a very good example 
of another HMG failure. It does however, provide a forum in which

Local weather report just said windy and cloudy but no rain for 
tomorrow, we all know how reliable they are...

Shouldn't affect the festival anyway, would imagine a large part of it 
will be under marquees/tents.
