Which games to buy?
Just bit the bullet and finally bought a ps3, it comes with ratchet and
clank, but i can see me trading this fairly soon.
So what are the best games for the ps3 at the moment? Not interested in
Oblivion, played that on the PC and bored me to death.
Thanks all.

In essence, yes. But 6 tracks plus reverses, 40 cars, online and TV
modes means it's actually bigger than most full releases. And a lot
better. It's just 0.002% the size GT5 will be.

Only if you're wrong. Though it is only 6 hours long tops, so probably
best to rent it, then if you find yourself loving it like I did, go buy
it. But it's well worth a weekend's rental.

It's OK, just a bit uninspiring and repetitive. It's quite pretty but
it's nothing that hasn't been done (better) hundreds of times before.

It's not all it should be, it's one of those games that feels a bit "oh that
would look good, lets do it" games. Personally I don't like the ways it
plays.

The cutscenes are well worth playing it for though, as are the ranged combat sections (aftertouch is
great!)

If you haven't played Half Life 2 on the PC already, Orange Box is well worth it. Portal is fun but short
and I can't make head or tail of Team Fortess 2. Then again, I never did like PVP only games.

I hated playing the original Half Life with sticks, but HL2 seemed
to be much better.
Oblivion is fine with them, too - although the main issue I've ever
had (coming from keyboard/mouse control background) was due to the
sensitivity.
I think it just takes a bit of getting used to more than anything.
