You mean low definition off course. Looks crappy to me. As americans stick  
to the XBOX live, why don't You? Do You want to be absorbed into the  
pockets of Sony on that crappy basis? The XBOX games I have seen films off  
online is much, much better and more HD. And people can do anything with  
it. Install Linux, I have heard and so on. Sony is hard ass DRM. Sony will  
strap You so tight in DRM that You will not be able to move.
Just becourse we are protestants we don't need to kill all that we love,  
all the time.

HD does not a good game make.

Yes, it does look pretty good although the track graphics and animation are 
a bit bland (a framerate trade off I suppose). It will be interesting to see 
whether or not it comes close to the playability of Wipeout XL/2097 - 
subsequent Wipeout versions didn't come close.

It reminds me, animation wise, a little of Battle Arena Toshinden for the 
original PS - although I don't really know why. I think it's the craft 
grappling in the first video. It looks as if it could be a bloody good multi 
player game.

Anyway, the PS3 is selling poorly in the UK (in relative terms) and nothing 
but a major price cut is going to change that. Certainly not this game. I do 
think that Sony's PVR (Personal Video Recorder)marketing effort may result 
in some success for them though - if they can provide a dual tuner Freeview 
enabled PS3 for about £400 ($800) then PS3 sales could change dramatically.

has a bit of a cel-shaded look to it to me, though that may just be
the lighting.

reminded me a bit of crackdown, in that sort of realism/cel-shaded
graphical mixture.
