TBoGT - final mission
Possibly slight spoilers ahead but nothing game destroying.

Why the hell are there no checkpoints in the final mission (well I
assume it's the final mission). It's by far the longest mission in the
game, with by far the biggest gun battle. This is then followed by a
timed chase! As far as I can tell there are no health packs or armour
anywhere on route to replenish your supplies.

I think I got pretty damn near the end as it had taken me about 20
minutes and then I died. Never mind I thought this last bit should be
quite easy second time around.... except I reload the mission to find
myself right back at the f'ing start!!!! Well sod that, I'm not going to
replay another 20 mins of tedious gun battles just to die again at the
same spot. This game finishes here for me, I get so pissed off with
developers when they pull this kind of stunt!

Every other mission in the game has had sensible checkpoints except the
final mission. Bastards!

SPOILER SPACE

Assuming you mean the one with the heroin and chasing the plane, it had
checkpoints when I did it. There's one at the start of the gunfight, and
one partway through the chase at the very least.

For some odd reason I actually found the final mission one of the easiest, I
am surprised I only died once and that was because I did a run and gun.
Second time I used cover at the fairground and it was a breeze.

GTA games control like shit. I've just realised this and am not going to
bother with the new one. It's been a fun ride but they seriously need to
come up with a system that modern and not clunky.
