New for the PSP in the Sony Store (2008-01-31)
Three new PS1 games this week:

- Fade to Black (Full Game, £3.49)
- Theme Hospital (Full Game, £3.49)
- Motorhead (Full Game, £3.49)

Not having played any of these (I didn't have a PS1 and never got around to
trying Theme Hospital on the PC), are any of them any good? My brief search
of the internet suggests the answer may be "no" for Fade to Black and
Motorhead... Does Theme Hospital still stand up as a fun game after all this
time?

theme hospital is ok, but like theme park, it gets a bit repetitive.

Theme Hospital is wildly entertaining for a dozen hours or so, if you
like Theme games at all.

Fade To Black I have very little memory of, but what remains is
positive. Motorhead I've no idea.

Fade to Black was dreadful at the time. I daren't think how horrific it would
be now.

At the time? Not on PC it wasn't, average perhaps, but not dreadful. I
recall the controls being a pain, but I'll have been using a keyboard.

excuse the noob Q, but can you now download PS1 games to a PSP without a
PS3?

Yeah, it was the PC version (with keys) I was talking about. Dreadful,
dreadful game.

I loved it. I've still got a copy.

Mind you, it probably helped that I absolutely adored Flashback.

That's the main reason I hated it. I loved Flashback, and Fade to Black was a
buggy, ill-advised, awful to control, unnecessarily 3D pile of shite "sequel".

Then we shall have to agree to disagree. I still remember thinking how
ace it looked when I ran away from one of the blobs and did a shoulder
roll just as a laser beam zipped past my head. Awesome.

One thing that was good about it is that it carried the "run through a wall"
bug over from Flashback :)

If the game you want is available in the Sony Store
(http://store.playstation.com) then you can buy it and download it using a
Windows PC, no PS3 required. However they only have a small (and rather
bizarre) selection of games. PS1 games cost £3.49 each. Post here if you
have any other questions.
